Make a day of it

Days out from the lodge

Raalmadu sits where the jungle, the river and the coast meet, which makes it an easy base for more than safaris. A short drive away there are ruins tied to the island's founding legends, a rock temple, riverside hideaways, wetlands full of birds and long, empty beaches.

Tell us what interests you and we will put the day together: the vehicle and driver, a guide where one helps, park permits and a packed meal for the road. Most guests pair one big outing with a slow afternoon back at the lodge.
